tell me, what is so bad about a few subtle stretch marks appearing and some body parts doubling in size when there is a absolute miracle going on right on the other side of one's belly button? the following day review tells me these things shouldn't create emotional mind chaos at all, but for some reason..last night..they did! last night i let little things stick around in my mind and create worry. i blew the changing self thing way out of proportion, and this morning, over a mug of raspberry leaf tea and my snoring, hairy boys sitting at my feet, i'm thinking about the many worries that COULD be (and aren't.) we have a big appointment coming up this week in terms of bone measurement, heart measurement, size comparisons and labs. we've also made it a goal to make some final decisions on child care soon. today's new start is allowing me to focus on how great i feel (seriously -- compared to months 2 and 3 this is vacation!!!), the exciting opportunities of choices we get to make (child care, shower cake flavors, baby room paint colors to go with the furniture we ordered) and getting to see sweet little boy in another couple of photos this week.
i'm so grateful for such a supportive husband and dad to be (he made a delightful dinner after my session last night and and actually wanted to watch football with me, in bed -- not on the man couch..) without him, i feel i would be nothing. he brings out the inner good in me (aaaand responsibility in the check book. heh heh..) he leads by example filled with patience and love, and i cannot believe i have to wait until may to see him with his babe.

Hormones suck! LOL:) I'm sending up lots of prayers for a good appt and clarity as you make childcare decisions:) And I can't wait to taste that cake:) Mmmmmmm!
